Never Compare Your Beard to Others

So… you’ve got a beard. But for some reason, right now, you’re not feeling it.

Maybe you feel like your beard isn’t full enough. Or maybe you’ve seen other beard styles that you can’t yet manage.

Sometimes you start to feel bummed about your own beard, and wish that you could magically snap your fingers and have the beard of your dreams.

With so many different beards out there, it’s easy to get caught up in comparing your beard to others. Some comparisons can cause you to wish your beard was fuller, Longer, Shinier, Thicker, Thinner, Or a different color. The list goes on forever!

But the fact of the matter is, no beard is greater than any other beard. And the metrics for what makes a beard “better” are completely subjective. Someone you admire for their beard’s fullness could secretly be admiring YOUR beard for its style or length. All beards are different, and any beard can become a badass beard if rocked with a little confidence. 

The Age-old Myth: Bigger is Better

When you first start growing your beard, it’s easy to believe the age-old myth that bigger is better. But this is an extremey general statement. Better for what?

In the beginning stages of your beard journey, it’s easy to get caught in the trap of defining yourself by your beard. And once your beard holds the key to your confidence, it’s only logical that more beard = more confidence. And that bigger is better.

It’s easy to believe that a bigger beard will give you more confidence which will lead to more respect, women, money, and everything you’ve ever hoped and dreamed for. But doing this will put the source of your confidence outside yourself.

It will cause you to not be 100% confident in your beard, and people will be able to sense it.

But this bigger is better myth just isn’t true.

That feeling of confidence that seemingly comes from your beard is actually coming from within you, and can be generated at any moment. If you really want it.

It’s not a massive beard that gives you confidence… it’s you that gives yourself confidence.

And you can be confident rocking any beard you darn please.

Think about it.

Have you ever seen that guy who doesn’t look anything like he should be the center of attention, but ends up attracting everyone in the room towards him, like a magnet? He walks funny, isn’t the most attractive, has a patchy beard, and wears strange clothes. But people stop and take notice when he walks into a room.

Why is that?

It’s because he’s supremely confident. And people can feel it. And when someone is truly confident, it raidates off them for everyone in the room to feel. Believe it or not, people will want to copy HIM!

It’s crazy.

So…

It doesn’t matter what your beard looks like, or what clothes you wear…
